When presenting photos I have to start with the current head of the Clan. She is the most senior clan member and as such shall be known as the chief. She is of course my mum, Mary Sylvia Cree McGrory, and is now 90 years old and being cared for in a residential home in Glasgow

This picture below is of the chief and was taken in 1998, overlooking the beautifull River Dornoch in Easter Ross, Scotland.

This is the picture that prompted my daughters to give the nickname of supergran, she was 87 years at the time and still loved to garden

Below is brother teddy with one of his pets. As a person who had travelled to every part of the world, except the Tartica's, he obviously picked up a few freinds along the way. Teddy is the one with the walking stick. Unfortunately Teddy died in 1996 and was a great loss, particularly to the cheif.

Teddy as an adolescent, about 15 years and as an 11 year old boy, how we used to fight over that bike.

This is Lynda, Claire and Fiona when they were less expensive and there trust and affections could be secured for the price of an ice cream.

Below is gran on the left with her freind Elizabeth taken when she was about 18 years old, this would have been 1930. Her freind married, settled in Germany but unfortunately died in an autobahn accident shortly after ww2.

Below is The cheifs great Aunts taken in the village of Burnbrae in about 1850 outside the cottage that she was born in. It was obviously illegal to smile in those days

This is the only picture I can find of my late dad it was taken around 1965 when we lived in the Barlanark district of Glasgow

Lynda now works in television as a stage manager, Claire is an I/T helpline consultant and Fiona is in her final year at uni studying dramatic art.
All three share a love of music and the theatre, which from an early age they have been actively involved.

My dad died in 1972 and was a great philosopher. His name was Edward, he like my mother hailed from a small Ayrshire village. Where mum came from Burnbrae, he came from Waterside on the banks of the river doon, about 15 miles away.
He was a baker by trade, a lover of horses especially when they passed the winning post with favourable odds. Photos of him are scarce but if any family members have any I would be grateful for copies
